About the position

We are looking for several experienced and responsible forklift operators for a full-time assignment with one of our clients in Halmstad. For the right person, the position may lead to permanent employment with the client. The client has a need for several forklift operators who are experienced in driving counterbalance forklifts with long goods. Work with overhead cranes will also be required. Working hours are shift-based, and weekend work may occur.

Job Responsibilities

The position involves loading and unloading goods, order picking at the client's warehouse, and internal transport of steel pipes. You will use a forklift and overhead crane to assist you. All work is reported in the SAP business system. We apply job rotation for sustainable work.

We are looking for someone with experience in warehouse work within the industry and a very good habit of driving counterbalance forklifts, preferably with long goods, as we handle long lengths, often over 6 meters.

As a person, you are meticulous and have an easy time collaborating with others. We see that you have a positive attitude towards learning new things and that you are curious about technology, combined with a pleasant personality. The work can sometimes be fast-paced and with important deadlines, so you must be stress-resistant without losing focus on safety and service levels.

Requirements

• Forklift license A1-4 and B1-4
• Previous warehouse experience and good habits with counterbalance forklifts
• Overhead crane license is a plus
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license B and a car
